The Fab Views
My personal opinions/views, and every other thing about me that doesn't fit anywhere else. These are the basics; will be expanded later. (:
Severus Snape should be the most respected character in the Harry Potter series.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the best book in the series.
There never should've been any sequels to Bring It On.
Casino Royale was a bloody awesome 007 movie.
Modern Nancy Drews are a lot better than the "vintage" Nancy Drew.
The vintage Nancy was, though very intelligent and intuitive, what was expected of her time. And the standards of her time were very low. Women were supposed to
worship and depend on the men. If you've ever read the original Nancy Drews, you realize that when Nancy needs help getting out of a scrape, she's saved by most of the
time, Ned Nickerson, or sometimes her father, Carson Drew. Occasionally she will be saved by a strong male character introduced in the book or by George Fayne, her best
friend (who is labeled a tomboy). Nancy is too dependent on the rest of the characters to save her in her time of need.
Modern Nancy, in any newer series you find, can kick butt. Whether she uses judo or karate or any type of self-defense, she can save herself. She's also more fit with the
times - she insists that she is alright and she almost always adamantly refuses help. Occasionally she does need it (she is human, after all), but Nancy can do A-OK on her
own. Which is very awesome. :)
Myspace absolutely sucks. Get a Facebook.
